The TEAM at GTD Hospitality has 25+ years involvement in the hospitality and tourism sectors as owners, managers and partners in numerous ventures. The operational backgrounds include the management of stand alone and multi unit businesses, ownership of restaurants, hotels and guest-houses, food production businesses and a Registered Training Organisation.
They have tertiary and hospitality management degrees, training and assessment qualifications and Real Estate Agents Representative certification.
GTD has set up greenfield businesses and co-ordinated numerous pre-openings and refurbishments. It operated as a successful RTO for 10 years from 2002 to 2012 delivering accredited training to thousands of hospitality, retail and tourism industry staff across Australia from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma levels.
We use contract staff with a wealth of operations and management expertise. They have all done the hard yards across many businesses and deliver credibility, professionalism and clarity when dealing with our diverse range of clients.

Projects

LARGEST HOTEL IN AUSTRALIA
8 month project overseeing the pre opening of one of the largest Hotels in Australia. Situated in Melbourne it has a 60 room 4 star hotel, multiple bar and dining options, gaming and wagering and various function and conference facilities.  

CASINO TRAINING
Delivered Certificate 3 hospitality qualification to over 400 Food and Beverage staff at Crown Casino. Combining off the job sessions and intensive on the job training and assessments.

CLUB MANAGERS
Training delivered to 150 Hotel and Club Managers focusing on financial management, customer service and staff training skills.

MENTORING MANAGERS
GMs in gaming venues expanding their financial management and administration skills. Delivered as one to one sessions in the venues.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES
Staff from 30 gaming venues were delivered 3 hour customer service and selling skills sessions to increase service and sales in food and beverage outlets.

ON THE ROAD WITH MANAGERS
Groups of 4 middle managers spend the day with me visiting random CBD venues. Observing, questioning and analysing the businesses. Customer service, ambience, offers, skills, profitability and other metrics. Then compare their venues and performance with what they have seen.
